How to help us

We need your support to increase the number and improve the quality of short breaks to disabled children across the UK. Short breaks make a vital difference to disabled children and their families.
We rely on donations to fund our work.

We can make your money go a very long way, from providing free training to short break carers of disabled children to running nationwide short break carer recruitment campaigns and materials for schemes to use all year round.

There are lots of different ways to give or raise money. Let us help you find the way that suits you best:

Donate – make a one off or regular donations
Fundraise – find the perfect way to raise funds through your interests or new challenges
Business backing – build a mutually beneficial partnership through supporting our national organisation
Trusts – help us meet your objectives through our range of project and core activities
Give us a Break – join in our very own unique fundraiser – perfect for everyone!

Win a funky MINI First!

We have joined up with FSI (The Foundation for Social Improvement www.thefsi.org) to bring you an exciting chance to help raise funds and have the chance to win a brand New MINI First (courtesy of Zurich)!

Each ticket costs £2 and 95.2% of that is for our charity – so if we sell 100 tickets that’s £190.40 you’ve helped us raise. £190.40 means that Shared Care Network can provide a free place to a short break carer at one of our training courses.
To enter on-line please see the FSI. If you would like to sell tickets then please contact SCN@sharedcarenetwork.org.uk with your contact details and we will be in touch. Please tell your friends, family and colleagues by sending them the link http://www.thefsi.org/fsi/charityprofile/shared-care-network

The competition closes on the 6 September 2010.

Thank you and good luck!
