Give As You Earn
Join a 'Give As You Earn' scheme and start giving regular tax free payments from your salary. Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax so for each £1.00 you give it will only cost you 80p, and if you're a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you 60p.
